Hey team artefact!
Scroll to discover my CV + Portfolio.
I’m Stacie Buell - a powerhouse creative from digital progressive politics specializing in graphic design and strategic communications.
I’ve spent the last 7 years whipping up killer content and creative strategy for political candidates, fortune 100 companies, and progressive organizations across the country. Most recently, I was an in-house senior designer on the Elizabeth Warren Campaign for President.
Now, I want to take my excitement and skill to the Artefact team to tackle big challenges and help design the future.
From complex HTML5 Dynamic Rich Media Units to leading creative strategy for multimillion dollar campaigns – as a creative leader on the Artefact team I’lI tackle anything you throw at me.
Strategic, persuasive design is my career – and I love it. On the Elizabeth Warren Campaign I worked to communicate complex political policy through beautiful, accessible creative.
As the lead paid media designer my graphics and creative strategy helped raise over $40 Million dollars from paid media in a 14 month period. I also built out our in-house Direct Mail program for Iowa, acting as the direct mail lead for over 20 unique designs.
My work covered every platform, including social, digital illustration, rapid response, animation, paid media, print, email, advance and signage, merchandise, data visualization, mini-brands, logos, and website.
I got my start at BPI Media where I worked with Fortune 100 Companies, national political organizations, and internationally recognized non-profits to create change that mattered. Focusing on audience specific creative and multidisciplinary design, I learned about digital first strategy and became the company expert in digital advertising creative technology.
Looking for growth I then started my own successful freelance design company, grossing over 100k in my first year. I operated my business remotely for almost 2 years engaging with a handful of agencies & democratic groups while traveling the world.
Some of my favorite projects from the last few years helped to:
LIFT UP WOMEN
I’ll never stop fighting to get a woman elected as the President of the United States and continue to work to help women find their power. Before working in-house for Elizabeth Warren, I also helped launch Hillary Clinton’s 2016 campaign for President, worked as Emily’s List’s digital advertising lead for 5 years, & freelanced on print and digital content for NARAL, Ultraviolet, and Planned Parenthood.
FLIP THE HOUSE
I worked as a freelance designer with the top democratic Super PAC Priorities USA to concept + design social and banner advertisements for their 2018 National House Campaign - creating thousands of location specific graphics and animations for 52 districts across the country and helping to bring democratic control to the house.
I’m thrilled to formally submit my application to the Artefact team. Keep in touch at staciebuell@gmail.com or (425) 281-3861. I hope to hear from you soon!
